About Me

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,’ but as far as photography is concerned one has to behold that beauty in one frame.

In a world where talking about oneself was considered pompous, today it seems like a necessity. While you breezed/breeze through these pages to get a glimpse of the kind of work I have done, allow me to give you a small insight into my life and my ways of work.

My journey into photography was out of a keen sense of appeal that the camera had to offer me. Having completed my B.com at Loyola and moving on further into the Madras Film Institute to include into my spectrum film direction and script writing, I began to find the realms of photography extremely inviting. I discovered this world by myself, it would be officially right to say that I am in this field, self-taught.

My work and I have moved with the constant change of trends. Having delved in product photography for a long time, fashion seems to rule the covers in the recent times so as in my work as well.

The tinsel world demanded a different treatment of the lens and that only broadened work grounds for me having worked with stalwarts of the Film industry.

I love challenges in all forms and enjoy dabbling in the process of improvisation, not only in swinging right into the momentum of the course of action (during a shoot,) but also trying out various possibilities with lighting and atmosphere. Natural lighting and whacky lighting are some things I take great pleasure in playing with black and white photography is one of my favorites.

Every creative needs a clear vision. Every photographer desires a clear creative.
